What type of work do you do?
I am a natural history photographer, writer and lecturer. My work specializes in wildlife and environment.
Why do you what you do?
I enjoy what working in nature and helping keep the earth and beautiful and a healthy place to live.
How do you start your day?
I start each day at sunrise with hot tea. My best days start with an early morning boat ride in a canoe, kayak, or bateau.
Best advice ever given to you? What bit of advice would you share with others?
The best advice ever given to me would be to follow your passion. As far as the advice I would give to others, I would say, “do not be afraid of the road less traveled.”
Who do you admire and why?
Personally, I admire Ansel Adams, because he could capture nature in black and white more beautifully than with color. He also had a big load to carry with his large format cameras.
